Up

January 24th, 2009

A house flying with a million balloons, an old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, a little boy Russell, a new Pixar comedy. UP – a film that will be released soon, in May. It’s written by Bob Peterson, who also wrote Finding Nemo, and directed by Peter Docter, who also directed Monster Inc.

I wonder: who is that tiny bird from the house? I’ll find it only in the summer…ha..

But I find other juicy details in the Pixar’s synopsis: “Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life. Up takes audience on a thrilling journey where the unlikely pair encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains and jungle creatures.”
